Theodore International School Elementary program is Grade 1 to 8.

We use International American curriculum based on the Journey to excellence model which fosters a balanced development of the whole person. We inspire a lifelong love of learning in a safe and secured environment where all abilities and talents are honored accepted and nurtured to attain the highest level of achievement.

 

Theodore International School believes that every student is created equally but differently. Every student has his or her own learning styles. Learning style refers to the preferential way in which the student absorbs processes, comprehends and retains information.

Our Elementary program has a balanced approach focusing on individual student needs. It is integrated and interconnected to meet individual needs. Our curriculum ensures that all students are literate and can successfully communicate.

Our program is engaging, interactive, challenging and covers the common core state standards. It is built on a foundation of inquiry that encourages wonderment, questioning, exploration of multiple resources to conduct research and investigations and collaboration.

TIS makes learning meaningful. It connects to student’s emotion. Students experience content through engaging and hands-on activities.

We teach every child how to express himself/herself through art. This demands that the students learn to see and experience the world in a different way.  We encourage our students to have a balance and healthy lifestyle. It includes swimming classes, sports and fitness.

We provide developmentally appropriate music learning activities for students. It offers a solid music program with numerous connections to other content areas.

It is our goal to train our students with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve excellence in education and be successful in the chosen field in life. With that our students are valuable contributor in the society.
